The saga continues as host, Kimberlé Crenshaw, deconstructs the myth that the media simply reports the facts. Alternatively, the media plays an active role in the confusion about what critical race theory really is. We go back through history to show how the media was a major actor in the retrenchment of Black freedom over the ages from both left and right leaning media institutions. This episode further demonstrates how the media historically and presently falls  short when it comes to critiquing the racist realities of life in America for Black people.  Listeners will leave understanding that when history isn’t reported alongside current events, racism is easily perpetuated.
